A large number of people in the country have limited access to clean drinking water & sanitation facilities. Safe drinking water is especially critical for those who are the most vulnerable to water-borne diseases. Unfortunately, in the country, most of the water sources are contaminated and there is no proper mechanism whereby poor people could get clean water. Inhabitants especially Women & Children often have to walk miles & carry heavy buckets in search of the water. These communities are in dire need of support. Your donation for Water projects will help to access clean drinking water & protect them from water-borne diseases. MEHD is providing the clean water facilities in the public schools and vulnerable communities by installing the Hand pumps, Solar water Pumps, Water wells, Electric Water Coolers, Water Tanks and Water Filtration Plants.
